OUR STORY
How we started
The Balm First Aid was established in May 2007 by Susan Patterson-Smith, a Pre & Postnatal Wellbeing Specialist and Educator.
Susan is qualified in Counselling, Life Coaching, Teaching and Social Care and has over 8 years industry experience as a Paediatric First Aid Instructor, Safeguarding Children Tutor and Specialist First Aid Instructor for Carers of children who have special needs and physical disabilities.
Since 2009 the team has grown immensley and comprises of a selection of experienced & qualified Instructors; ranging from Nursing Practitioners, Clinical Teachers and Paramedics.

All trainers are insured with the Association of First Aiders,​​​​​ to offer Certificated First Aid Courses in the UK. Additionally, all Instructors hold an up to date, enhanced CRB disclosure.​
The Balm First Aid provides empowering courses and services for Expectant Parents, Parents, Nannies, Schools, Teachers, Grandparents, Groups and NCT/Antenatal Groups and Organisations; delvering both Scheduled and Private courses throughout London.
