The Balm Pre & Postnatal Wellbeing offers a range of specialist services and courses to support you through conception, pregnancy & parenthood.

To Balm Pre & Postnatal Wellbeing was born in May 2007 by qualified Complementary Therapist Susan Patterson-Smith and is based in Wandsworth, London. For over 20 years Susan has worked with people within a therapeutic environment. For the last 12 years Susan worked directly with children, young people and parents in a Social Care setting. Susan has qualifications in Counselling, Life Coaching, Teaching and Social Care.

In 2004 Susan studied at the London School of Beauty & Make-Up (The London Esthetique), obtaining both the CIBTAC & CIDESCO International Diploma’s in Beauty Therapy. Along with the VTCT Level III Diploma’s in Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Indian Head Massage.

Susan has also completed the advanced specialist courses; Hydrotherm Pregnancy Massage, IAIM Certificate in Baby Massage and the St. John’s Ambulance Certificate in Early Years First Aid, 4- DAY First Aid at Work Certificate, PTLLS Level 4 Certificate in Teaching and has been approved by the HSE through QUALSAFE LTD to offer Certificated First Aid Courses in then UK. She is in the top of her field in Holistic Pre & Postnatal Care.

Susan is CRB checked and an insured practitioner through BABTAC. The Balm Pre & Postnatal Wellbeing provides empowering courses and services for parents, grandparents, groups and carers. Susan also offers a comprehensive range of treatments: from organic facials, tension relieving massages; reflexology, pregnancy massage, pregnancy reflexology, threading, Infant First Aid, Paediatric Early Years First Aid and Baby Massage Classes.
